About Alex
I am a master's student of mathematics at The University of Warwick, soon to begin my career in international trade for a global commercial bank. Having spent the last year working as a teaching assistant at the Mathematics Institute - University of Warwick, I have experience communicating difficult and complex subject-matter to students.
I am eager to impart some of the knowledge I have gained throughout my education so as to help other pupils thrive and attain their potential. I thoroughly enjoy all things maths and hope to inspire other students to love the subject too!
I am happy to tutor remotely, or in person in Portishead, Bristol or the surrounding area.

Lessons will be flexible to suit the students' needs and academic goals. Regular milestones will be set to measure the student's abilities and to ensure a thorough understanding of tricky content. More than happy to regularly recap content covered and areas of difficulty with parents / carers. I believe in a holistic approach towards education and am eager to adjust methodologies to suit the needs of any pupil.
Happy to work with students towards University aspirations, or otherwise, including advice about careers and applications relevant to mathematics, STEM or the financial services industries.
Enhanced DBS Check completed June 2025.
