About Elizabeth
I am an experienced university Spanish instructor with a Master’s degree in Spanish Studies and many years of teaching students at different levels.
I am also a published author, physician, and bioethicist, which allows me to bring language, culture, literature, and professional communication into my lessons.
My classes are personalized, clear, and encouraging. I help students build confidence in speaking, improve grammar and vocabulary, and develop reading and writing skills in a natural and practical way. I work with beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, adults, college students, and professionals who want to communicate more effectively in Spanish.
My goal is to create a learning plan that fits each student’s needs, interests, and pace.

My lessons are personalized according to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. In the first class, I evaluate your needs and interests so I can design a clear and practical learning plan for you.
Classes are interactive and focused on real communication. We will work on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, and writing in a natural and structured way. I use real-life situations, cultural topics, short readings, and guided practice to help you speak with more confidence.
I teach beginners, intermediate and advanced students, adults, college students, and professionals. I can also include academic Spanish, literature, DELE preparation, and Medical Spanish when needed.
