About Douglas
In 2016 I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Medical and Radiation Physics (UOW) and I'm currently finishing my Postgraduate studies, Master of Teaching (Mathematics and Physics). I have tutored various levels of high school mathematics and successfully completed the Literacy and Numeracy Test qualifying me to teach casually. I have taught a total of 6 weeks online and at the Wollongong High School of Performing Arts.
I aim to direct my tutoring to the individual needs of the student with flexible working hours and thorough preparation in order to maximise each sessions potential.

I believe it is crucial to construct lessons through various techniques of differentiation whether it is teaching through readiness, learning profile or interest. Once the main concepts have been introduced, STEM subjects can be expanded through the use of ICT and real world applications. My lessons are designed to not only teach the fundamental concepts but highlight their importance and place in society.
