About Ted

Hey, I'm Chess Coach Ted, guiding people achieve their desired chess goals!

Working as a coach, my my biggest concern is to fully connect with my students. I prefer to be friend and teammate rather than rigid instructor. I believe that communicating with each other as a team and constantly working towards one goal, will lead to a great result. I am ready and excited to share my experience.

About the lesson

All level students are welcome, including absolute beginners. Lesson type depends on student's knowledge. What to expect from classes? 1. Theoretical: Opening, Middle-game, Endgame understanding. Chess terminology, rules, game analysis, mistake analysis, grandmasters game analysis, strategy setup, attack-defense setup. 2. Practical: Chess games live with coach and players around the world, online tournaments, puzzles, drills.

Cory is an advanced beginner in a transition of becoming a solid amateur chess player. Surprisingly, he has reached 1400+ rating points on his own in only 1.5 year. Adding consistent practice to his genetics will definitely unlock a new level in his chess career.
