About Hetal
I am a registered pharmacist with Master's-level qualifications in Clinical Pharmacy, with additional training in infection prevention and control and a strong academic foundation in biological and life sciences. Early in my career I worked as a university lecturer in pharmacy education, and I have since spent over fifteen years in clinical practice across hospital settings in Australia and New Zealand, where ongoing learning, precision and evidence-based thinking are part of daily work. I have completed formal preceptor training and have mentored numerous students and junior clinicians, including one whose research project was awarded first prize at a national pharmacy conference. I am currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management, and I am a co-author of a published book chapter in pharmaceutical sciences. I bring the same patience, clarity and attention to detail I use in clinical teaching to every tutoring session, with the goal of helping students genuinely understand biology, not just memorize it.

I bring a science-first, exam-focused approach to biology tutoring, drawing on my Master's in Clinical Pharmacy and background as a university lecturer in pharmacy education. Lessons combine clear concept explanations with practice questions and past-paper technique, tailored to each student's syllabus and pace. Sessions typically run 60 minutes, delivered one-on-one or in small groups. With experience teaching undergraduate pharmacy students, completing formal preceptor training, and mentoring interns and junior clinicians, I tutor high school and early university biology and human biology students, helping them build strong foundations in cell biology, physiology, genetics and related life sciences topics.
