About Rory
Hi, I’m Rory! I’m a Master’s student in Energy Engineering at UCD with over three years of experience tutoring Math at both Leaving and Junior Certificate level. I specialize in helping students build confidence, master exam technique, and truly understand what’s behind the formulas. Whether it’s algebra, calculus, trigonometry, or statistics, I focus on breaking complex topics into clear, simple steps that make sense. My approach combines structured lesson plans, exam-focused practice, and individual feedback so every student can see progress week by week. Many of my students have improved their grades from H5 to H2 or better through consistent, focused preparation. I believe balance is important, and outside my studies and teachings I play Gaelic football with my local club or go embarrass myself at the driving range.
