About Valerija
I’m a Civil Engineer with a Master’s degree from Cardiff University and a strong background in Maths, Physics, and Engineering. I’ve always enjoyed these subjects and helping others understand them. There’s nothing quite like the moment a concept “clicks,” and I aim to help my students reach that point. I have experience mentoring students at different stages: in college, I supported GCSE students, and during university, I mentored younger students in their early years. This has given me insight into how students learn and the most effective ways to guide them. I bring patience, understanding, and a practical approach to tutoring, helping students not just pass exams but gain real confidence and enjoyment in the subjects.

I focus on making learning clear and manageable, breaking down complex topics into simple, step-by-step explanations. I adapt my teaching to each student’s pace and learning style, using examples and diagrams to make concepts easier to understand. I offer 60-minute online lessons using my iPad to provide interactive explanations where students can see exactly how I work through problems, draw diagrams, or write out solutions in real time. I have a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and a strong background in Maths, Physics, and Engineering. I’ve tutored and mentored students of various ages, including my own siblings in primary and secondary school, helping them gain confidence and improve their understanding. My lessons are suitable for GCSE and BTEC students, but I’m happy to work with a range of ages who need support in Maths, Physics, and Engineering.
