About Avan
I am a Physics Masters graduate with a strong passion for mathematics and physical systems. I find there is great joy in understanding or consolidating knowledge in these area's, which can bring enthusiasm for future learning, as well as self confidence in current studies. As such I enjoy the teaching process both for the experience of my students, but also the fluency I gain by finding novel ways to communicate difficult material.

I have worked for 3 years as a Lab demonstrator for first years at Melbourne Uni, and I further have many years experience teaching in non scientific fields. I like to ensure students have a strong grasp of the basics so we build knowledge on a firm foundation, as well as imparting the rationale behind different techniques, which will aid in recall.
