I am from a science and engineering background, both in the military and civilian life, with 40 years experince of applications in both. During my time as a military tecnician i taught new recruits the maths and electronics need to qualify.

i use standard teaching methods but hope to impart understanding and not just knowledge, the latter being of no use without the former. Passing exams is more likely with understanding. I currently tutor to A level but am happy to tutor to degree.
