About Jeffrey
I am an experienced English and Spanish teacher with a Master’s degree in education and 15 years of classroom and online teaching experience in the United States. I am a native English speaker and speak Spanish and Portuguese at an advanced level (C1), as well as Italian and Hebrew at an intermediate level (B1). I have taught English in South Korea, Spain, Chile, and Brazil, and have worked with more than 1,500 students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including many middle and high school students and adult learners.
I specialize in Spanish tutoring while also offering English support for students who need it. I am known for my clear explanations and structured lessons that help students understand and retain what they learn.
My students have strengthened their grades, increased their confidence, and many have made the Honor Roll. Thanks to our work together, they have been able to communicate more comfortably with friends, family, and coworkers in both English and Spanish.

Throughout my career in education, my priority has been to make a meaningful difference in every student’s life. I believe you learn best through natural, authentic conversations and practical language you can actually use. When you try to learn too much at once, it quickly becomes overwhelming, so I design lessons in clear, “bite‑sized” steps to make progress manageable and motivating. In our lessons:
--I contextualize grammar and vocabulary and guide conversations about topics that are meaningful and relevant to you.
--I provide homework activities and offer constructive, supportive feedback to help you improve.
--We use pictures, videos, and plenty of pronunciation and speaking practice.
--We use the target language as much as possible so you get the most out of every session.
Having studied four foreign languages myself, I understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language. I will be your guide every step of the way, and look forward to working with you!
