About Samantha
I am a passionate and dedicated Criminology tutor with a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Criminology with Policing, which I completed in 2024, followed by an MSc in Criminology, which I graduated with in 2025.
My academic background has given me a strong understanding of criminological theories, policing, crime and society, criminal justice, research methods, and contemporary issues within criminology.
I understand that university-level work can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when it comes to understanding complex theories, structuring essays, conducting research, or preparing for exams. My aim is to make these areas easier to understand while helping students develop confidence in their own academic abilities.
I can support students with criminology topics, essay planning and structure, academic writing, research methods, critical analysis, exam preparation, and dissertation or research-project guidance.
My tutoring style is friendly, patient and supportive. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my sessions to their individual needs, whether they need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an assessment, or simply building their confidence.
I look forward to helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a genuine understanding of criminology.
