I am a very flexable individual and I know from first hand experience that different people have different learning rates and would grab concepts differently. I always tailor my approach to the students I am teaching. Some students prefer the mathematics to get the intuition while others prefer the intuition to get the mathematics. I am practial and work both ways depending on the student.
