I’ve found the most effective approach is to build confidence with the student! I also am a firm believer in remaining patient and positive! I am very observant when it comes to reading the learning style of the student, and adapt my approach accordingly! I emphasize the importance of asking lots of questions in order to gain a complete understanding :)
