About Mehek
Coming from a humble background with immigrant parents, it's always been important to me to teach others who might not have access to an education and to make learning affordable and accessible. I have been teaching for five years online way before the pandemic even started, so I am well-versed in applying technological tools at my fingertips to make the lesson as interactive as possible. I enjoy making practical, pragmatic, and real-world connections to problem-solving. I teach differently than others because I put less emphasis on passing the test, getting good grades, and getting the right answer and more emphasis on learning the material and engagement. My students always come back to me with questions whether they are philosophical or out of curiosity with the quest for learning. Tutoring for me started when some of my colleagues in trade school were struggling with binary math. Math and science and even writing and Spanish are my favorite subjects to teach.

I am efficient and fast at problem solving in the simplest and most efficient and easiest solution possible. I come from a humble background and really value the need for an education as we are advancing in technology in the future. I love teaching underprivileged kids who are eager to learn and have five years worth of teaching experience. I can teach numerical methods, differential equations, physics, chemistry, calculus, essay writing, and intermediate/ beginner Spanish.

Mehek is so nice and not intimidating at all. She's very approachable and easy to understand when she teaches. She takes things very slow and makes sure you understand and answers questions. She gives plenty of examples before moving on
