About Grace
Hi, I’m Grace — your friendly math and coding tutor!
I’m a UBC graduate in International Economics, a high-achieving math student, and currently a data engineer. I love helping students turn confusing concepts into “I get it!” moments. My focus is on strengthening your understanding of core concepts, building reliable problem-solving habits, and helping you feel confident tackling challenging questions independently. My goal is to help you understand why things work, not just memorize formulas.

Together, we’ll break down complex topics, work through examples, and build simple, reliable strategies for approaching math problems you can use for homework, tests, and future courses.
I know math can sometimes feel overwhelming or frustrating, which is why I focus on making the learning process supportive, motivating, and enjoyable. My teaching style is patient and focused on clarity.
My goal is for every session to feel productive, encouraging, and confidence-boosting. You’ll leave each lesson with a stronger understanding of the material and a growing confidence in your ability to tackle challenging questions on your own.
