About Zizipho
I am a 26-year-old chemical engineering graduate and a newly qualified Mathematics and physical sciences teacher who is passionate about teaching and inculcating love of the subject to the future adults and future leaders. I have experience in teaching grade 8 and 9 mathematics, but I can teach grade 10 as well because I have done mathematics in first-year and second-year level in University. I then majored in Math and Science in my PGCE. My biggest ambition is to produce critical thinkers and dynamic problem solvers.

I like my lessons to be learner-centered so that learners will be engaged. I teach by questioning and I believe that a learner has a previous knowledge related to the current knowledge therefore I like baseline assessments. I like to demonstrate and make use of real life problem when teaching mathematics just to bring my lessons into reality and let the learners find the sense of belonging to the lesson.
I am more comfortable with face to face classes as they allow me to interact with a learner and facilitate participation of the learner.
I help learners on their school homeworks and assignments when needed. I also give learners worksheets just to train them to be problem solvers ranging from low order questions to higher order questions.
