About Paul
A former college professor and engineer, I have most recently taught math and science in the Richmond City Public schools, both to regular and Special Ed students. Based on my classroom experience, I wrote hundreds of math exercises that cover all possible SOL questions in grade 6, grade 8, and Algebra 1.

I model my teaching approach on the Montessori Method, which emphasizes students completing a written exercise, which contains written hints, and encouraging their progress. I also have the capability to keep parents informed of their child's progress through progress reports, emailed to the parent every two weeks.
Due to the fact that this tutoring will be "virtual" (not in the home), I will be answering a student's questions over the phone, while possibly communicating with Zoom.
