Hello, my name is Tandra. I am a Master’s student in Applied Computer Science and Society at the University of Winnipeg, and I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
I have over three years of experience teaching mathematics, including working as a Kumon Early Learners Assistant. I help students understand math step-by-step and build confidence in problem-solving.
I can teach elementary, middle school, and high school math. My goal is to make math easy and enjoyable for students.

My lessons are personalized based on each student’s level and learning needs. I focus on helping students understand mathematical concepts clearly step-by-step rather than memorizing formulas. I create a supportive and encouraging environment so students feel comfortable asking questions.
During lessons, I explain concepts with examples, guide students through practice problems, and help them build confidence in solving math independently. I also help students with homework, exam preparation, and improving their problem-solving skills.
