About Harout
Hi, I'm Harout, a 19-year-old software engineering student. I've loved math since I was a kid — the kind of subject where things either make complete sense or feel impossible, and I've always enjoyed being the person who bridges that gap for someone else.
I've spent over a year tutoring high school students in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, and what I care about most is patience: no question is "too basic," and I'd rather slow down and make sure something actually clicks than rush through material you'll forget in a week.
Outside of tutoring, I'm deep into programming and problem-solving, which keeps my own math skills sharp and gives me a practical, logical way of explaining things rather than just reciting formulas.

I teach high school math with a focus on understanding, not memorization — once you know why a method works, you stop forgetting it under exam pressure.
A typical lesson starts with identifying exactly where you're stuck, then we work through a problem together step-by-step so you can see the reasoning, not just the answer. After that, we do practice problems on your own while I'm there to catch mistakes early, so you leave each session actually able to solve similar problems independently.
As a software engineering student, I use logical problem-solving daily, which helps me break down tricky concepts in ways that make sense.
