My main teaching method for tutoring is the EDGE method. Which stands for Educate, Demonstrate, Guide, and Enable. I start out with explaining the lesson. Then I show a few examples and explain as I am solving. Finally, after enough explanation, the student tries problems on their own as I guide them through the steps and processes. After enough practice, they will be on their own solving math problems and I answer any questions.
