About Toufic
I would be a great math tutor for you as I have always loved math and have a passion for teaching it. Teaching is a noble profession and with it comes a set of values such as patience, dedication, and responsibility which I proudly represent. I like to develop a comfortable and professional relationship with my students to ensure that they enjoy our sessions and that they can be honest with the difficulties they are facing in order for me to be of utmost help. The outline of my lessons consists of the following; I start by asking questions about the subject to inquire about the difficulties being faced. I then begin the lecture using visual and practical aids to ensure the students' comprehension. I use various teaching strategies such as questioning and examples throughout the lecture to keep students focused and attentive. Finally, I allow students to rephrase what they understood as well as solve practical problems using the methods provided during the lecture to verify their comprehension of the topic. I make sure my students are comfortable to stop me and ask me any questions and I am ready to rephrase certain parts of the lecture that were unclear in order to guarantee your understanding.
