About Djouhra
Hello! My name is Djohra Bellili, and I am a passionate educator dedicated to helping students succeed and gain confidence in mathematics.
I am currently a Substitute Teacher with the FrancoSud School Division in Alberta and an online tutor with experience teaching students in both Alberta and Quebec. I also worked as a University Instructor, where I taught Statistics and Probability.
I hold two Master's degrees in Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science and I am currently completing my PhD in Economics and Applied Statistics.
My experience teaching students of different ages and backgrounds has helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to every student's learning style. I believe that every student can succeed in mathematics with the right guidance, encouragement, and personalized support.

Every student learns differently, which is why I adapt each lesson to the student's level, learning style, and personal goals.
I teach mathematics in French to students from Grades 1 to 12, whether they need homework support, help understanding new concepts, exam preparation, or long-term academic improvement.
During our lessons, I begin by identifying the student's strengths and the areas that need improvement. I then explain each concept step by step using clear explanations, practical examples, and guided exercises. My goal is not only to help students solve problems but also to ensure they understand the reasoning behind every solution.
I create a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. I believe that confidence is just as important as knowledge when learning mathematics.
With my experience as a Substitute Teacher, former University Instructor, and professional tutor, I know how to adapt my teaching approach to different ages, abilities, and learning styles. My objective is to help every student become more confident, independent, and successful in mathematics.
