About Luis

I have ten years experience tutoring college students. I have done one-to-one, group, and virtual tutoring. Student success has been consistent. Education includes a bachelor’s in Math and Master’s in Applied Math. I also have a minor in Physics and have tutored first semester University Physics.

My approach is to explain with visuals why the math works. Then I provide example problems. Afterwards allow for guided practice with the students. I appreciate it when students provide school work that their teachers assign, so I can tailor my lessons and help them perform better in class.
