About Kayla
I am a freshman at Coastal Carolina University majoring in marine science and minoring in biology and sustainability. I take part in my campus' critical conversations program and Coastal Initiative. I am dedicated to spreading awareness for modern issues (typically related to climate), as well as teaching. I have tutored for the past 5 years and specialize in mathematics.

I have worked with people from ranges between 11 years old to 19 years old, and create lesson plans based on their learning styles (visual, model-based, or vocal) and determine the best teaching method for their success. I tend to use different colors and whiteboard demonstrations with many examples and practice problems, but again that depends on the student's learning style.
