About Nai
I am an upper-year Honors Mathematics & Statistics student at a top Canadian university with 4+ years of tutoring experience. I have worked both privately and with a tutoring agency, supporting students across middle school, high school, and university math courses. My academic background allows me to explain complex concepts clearly and logically, helping students build a strong foundation rather than relying on memorization.
I focus on structured, personalized lessons tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are strengthening fundamentals or aiming for top grades. My goal is not only to improve marks, but also to build confidence, critical thinking skills, and long-term academic independence.
Outside of tutoring and academics, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym and hiking, as well as traveling and exploring new places. I also enjoy watching TV shows and have an interest in fashion and creativity. I believe maintaining balance is important, and I encourage my students to develop strong study habits while still making time for their own interests.

Through my experience, I’ve worked with students who struggle with foundational concepts, exam anxiety, and confidence in math, as well as students aiming for high academic performance. My background in mathematics and statistics allows me to break down complex topics clearly and logically, helping students truly understand the “why” behind the material rather than just memorizing steps. I offer structured, personalized tutoring in: Elementary School Math, Middle School Math, Trigonometry, Algebra, Logic, Arithmetic, Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors, University level Math and Statistics. My approach focuses on identifying learning gaps, strengthening core fundamentals, and improving problem-solving skills and exam strategy. Many of my students see significant improvement in both their grades and confidence over time. I offer online sessions, and I’m happy to set up a short consultation to discuss goals and see if we’re a good fit!
