About Alex
I am someone who really enjoys problem-solving, and mathematics is the purest form of that. I enjoy the "lightbulb" moments, where the answer clicks and you know what to do, and my goal is to pass this feeling on to the students who are struggling or the students who want to get ahead.

My teaching methods are student dependent - I adapt to the student's thinking style, and how they best learn. Some students learn better going through problems repetitively, others learn well through conversation and breaking down the basics. A typical length can be from 1hr-2hrs (with a break if it's 2hrs).
I have taught family friends GCSE lessons, and researched into maths anxiety to help the students who really aren't maths confident and want help. The lessons are tailored for GCSE and A-levels.
