About Lesley
My personality has been described as bubbly, and I do try to maintain some optimism in spite of things. I see maths as a fascinating subject and am eager to communicate that to my students. Since graduating from Keele University with a 1st class degree in Mathematics I have worked in a variety of fields, from tuition to leisure. Now I have decided to dedicate my time purely to tuition to pass my knowledge on to the next generation, and I have been working as a private tutor for the last 3 years.
My lessons have a friendly and relaxed tone, however I will always ensure that my students push themselves to their desired grade by building their confidence in the subject and making it much less daunting.
I specialise in GCSE Maths at all levels but I would be delighted to teach A level, as well as some undergraduate Pure Mathematics topics. My lessons are 1 hour long. I am available to teach every weekday with some flexibility as well as Saturday afternoons.

I have known Lesley for many years. Lesley tutors me in university level calculus which I use in my physics degree. They're a really approachable person and very dedicated to helping students really understand the concepts behind the calculus as well as being able to pass exams.
I'd recommend Lesley to other Superprof members as she's a really genuine person and tutor.Lesley has talked me through both basic and advanced mathematical concepts in a easy to understand manner that has massively boosted my understanding and ability to apply them. Highly recommended :)
Lesley went through a difficult math subject I had spent a while attempting to understand with no success and was able to lay out the individual elements in simple easy steps and teach me the solution in a way that engaged me in the topic. On top of being excellent at tutoring they are also very friendly and made the learning experience actively enjoyable!
