About Lia
I am currently undertaking an MSc in Data Science. I have a first class degree in mathematics and have a young maths leaders certificate. I have experience in tutoring both primary and secondary school students in Mathematics. Recently I tutored small groups of students in an underperforming secondary school, the school saw results in mathematics massively improve as a result of the tutoring given by myself and my colleagues.

I am a recent Mathematics graduate and have experience in tutoring students of all abilities up to GSCE level. My teaching method is to start from basic examples and work up using similarities to the example in question; comparing the mathematics, where possible, to real life scenarios which can be easily comprehended. I have a focus on making the student work for the correct answers in a way which will equip them not only to answer the given question, but to arm them with the confidence and knowledge to tackle any further unseen question of a similar nature.
