About Marcell
I am a Durham University Mathematics Graduate, hoping to start my master's in the summer term.
I have 2 years of tutoring experience, ranging from GCSE to early university level, but as many maths tutors, I have also spent much longer explaining mathematical concepts to my peers. I also have experience running online workshops on interesting topics.
Personally, I achieved a 9 in GCSE Maths, A*s in A-level Maths as well as Further Maths and finally a 1st in my Maths degree.

I am happy to teach a wide range of levels, from GCSE to early university level. As such my teaching style will vary quite a bit student to student. I have a good knowledge of GCSE and A-level specifications, so I can also help with playing the "exam game".
I believe I am able to quickly note areas of improvement in a student if they happen to be unsure. This makes my teaching more efficient. As an example, I have found a quick round of "true or false" statements is effective at highlighting misconceptions on a given topic.
