About Matt

About the lesson

I tutor Year 11 and HSC Mathematics with a clear, student-focused approach, having achieved a 98 in 3U Maths and a 96 in 4U Maths in the HSC exams. Lessons are structured around the syllabus and tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. Students can use lessons to pre-learn upcoming content, revise topics, or receive specific help with challenging areas, assignments, or exam preparation. I explain concepts step by step, use worked examples, and provide targeted practice questions. Lesson length and quantity are determined by individual needs, ensuring effective and personalised support.

Pricing:
Year 10 - $50 per hour
Year 11 - $60 per hour
Year 12 - $70 per hour

My hourly rates reflect both the level of content and the support provided at each year level. Year 10 tutoring is $50 per hour and Year 11 tutoring is $60 per hour, while Year 12 tutoring is $70 per hour due to the increased complexity of the syllabus, exam preparation, and depth of problem-solving required.

All sessions include custom lesson preparation, supplementary practice questions, worked solutions, and exam-style resources tailored to the current syllabus. I also provide ongoing support outside of lessons for quick questions or clarification.
