About Mofoka

I am Mathematical Science graduate from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, currently persuing BSc Honours degree in Mathematical Sciences at the University of the Western Cape. I give individual lessons in Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy and Physical Sciences. I have taught groups of grade 10 to grade 12 in the last 3 years and majority of them obtained good results in the two subjects, and some of my students Passed Matric very well and are furthering their studies at various Universities around the country in the fields of Engineering, Education, Computer Science, Landscape Architecture and Information Technology.

About the lesson

I slowly and patiently work with learners until they understand the mathematical concepts and techniques for different topics. I also teach learners at least two ways in which a certain type of a problem can be solved and give them the opportunity to choose the method they want which will also make them see maths as an interesting subject and I make real world examples of applications of a certain topic during the lessons for the learner's better understanding.I also give small tests to see how well learners understand, Identify their problems through their mistakes and fix the problem.

Malekgowa is good with grasping the techniques however she seems to be havin a little problem with sign changes. She should improve more on getting the signs right.
