About Nuriya
I am a student pursuing biochemistry in Stony Brook University, I have been giving private lessons for four years in calculus, biology, Spanish, music theory, piano, and violin. I have prepared over 60 students for regent exams, AP exams, as well as worked individually with students in university learning centers. Students that I've prepared have gotten no less than a 90 on a regent exam, a 4 on the APs, and continue to excel in their academics.

My name is Nuriya and I've taught Middle School, High School, and University level math and science. I am very patient, understanding, and diligent in my work. I hope to enrich the academics of my students in any way that I can and provide a meaningful way for them to fully grasp what they are learning. My teaching method includes clarifying the learning goals and objectives of a specific subject, identifying the challenges and providing explicit procedures to tackle the problem(s).
