About Hank

My passion for mathematics began with exploring patterns and solving problems, leading me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students of varying abilities, guiding them to develop understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills in mathematics.

I focus on clarity, structured progression, and practical application. Lessons combine conceptual explanations, interactive exercises, and real-life examples to make abstract topics accessible. I encourage students to explore ideas independently, ask questions, and develop both confidence and curiosity, ensuring steady academic growth and skill development.

Beyond teaching, I engage with math puzzles, applied research, and interdisciplinary studies to bring fresh insights and contemporary examples into lessons. Watching students transform uncertainty into understanding, develop logical reasoning, and build confidence is the most rewarding aspect of my work. My goal is to make mathematics an empowering, enjoyable, and practically valuable experience for every learner.
