About Joyce
I feel like helping students learn and understand mathematics is my purpose in life. I started tutoring as a teenager to then earn a Bachelor's in Mathematics and a Master's in Mathematics Education. Before tutoring became my only profession, I taught middle and high school mathematics in public schools.

My goal for each lesson is to make math understood, not only doable. I am very patient with students and their varied learning needs. My lessons are organized and love when students ask questions for clarity. I give detailed notes and as many examples as a students requires for mastery of a topic. My expertise is trigonometry and the algebras but I tutor all levels of math.
