About Salih
Hi, I’m Salih — a QMUL MSc student in Machine and Deep Learning in Science with an engineering background. I’ve always enjoyed helping people “click” with maths, especially when it feels confusing or overwhelming at first. I’m patient, organised, and I explain ideas clearly step by step, so students feel confident rather than stressed. Having studied in the UK as an international student (both undergraduate and postgraduate), I also understand the academic expectations here and can support students with university planning and applications alongside their maths progress.

I’m a QMUL MSc student with an engineering background, and I teach maths in a structured, exam-focused way that builds confidence fast. Lessons are typically 60 minutes (can be 90 minutes for A-Level/Further Maths). We start by identifying your current level and weak topics, then use clear explanations, step-by-step methods, and plenty of targeted practice questions. I set short weekly goals, share quick revision strategies, and we regularly review past-paper style questions to improve speed and accuracy.
I teach Primary/KS2–KS3 maths, GCSE Maths, GCSE Further Maths, and A-Level Maths. I also offer university guidance for international students, including choosing courses, preparing applications, and adjusting to UK study expectations. Online or in-person in London depending on your preference.
