About Michaela
I am a teacher just starting out in the field, but I am passionate about bringing a relevant, relatable, and enthusiastic approach to learning. It is important to me to keep learning methods relevant to the world around us, so that it is something we can all relate to. I have spent a year teaching full time now, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know my pupils and meeting so many different personalities. I bring a lighthearted approach to the work and would be very excited to see a pupil progress and improve.

I employ a question-and-answer-based approach, guiding learners to reach their own conclusions by prompting them with relevant questions about the content along the way. I use digital resources for more detailed and creative demonstrations of concepts. I also try to explain how the content applies to other areas of work or life as it is important to make the content relatable and less of an abstract idea. I specialise in grades 7-12. And can assist with subjects such as maths, life science or natural science and maths literacy.
