About Sebastian
I've worked as a data analyst for a bank for the last 5 years in London. The job requires me to explain complex statistical models to senior staff. Communicating complex ideas in a simple to understand way is my day-to-day. This is much like teaching complex maths questions.
Outside of work, I am a big sports fan. Football and tennis are my favourites. Forest Green Rovers are my local team growing up. They're not very good so I have a soft spot for Arsenal when I used to live in Islington. Tennis wise, I try to play, try being the operative word.

I support GCSE students in working towards the grades they want, whether that’s aiming high or securing a solid pass. I also teach A-Level Maths, backed by my degree in the subject.
I’m a big believer in creating a comfortable, positive relationship with my students. Before starting lessons, I like to chat with both parents and students to understand what you’re hoping to achieve and how I can help you get there.
Most of my lessons are an hour long, as it tends to be the perfect amount of time for learning without feeling rushed or disengaging, but I’m always happy to adjust if a different structure works better. I finish each session with a quick summary of the key points and begin the next with a short recap to keep everything connected.
I’ve previously taught GCSE pupils and younger university maths students, and I always aim to make lessons friendly, clear, and confidence-boosting.
