About Aliya
I am a university student who recently completed my A Levels, so I understand how exams are structured and what exam boards expect from students. I tailor my teaching to help students understand not only the content, but also how to approach exam questions, interpret mark schemes, and structure answers to meet the required criteria. Every lesson is adapted to the student’s needs and preferred way of learning and I am flexible with timings to provide personalised support.
Outside of academics, I enjoy sports such as jiu-jitsu and rock climbing, and I’m a very creative person who loves painting and scrapbooking.

I offer personalised 1-to-1 online lessons for IGCSE and AS-Level students in Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts clearly using step-by-step explanations, worked examples and targeted past-paper questions to build exam technique and confidence. I adapt each lesson to the student’s needs, whether they need help with a specific topic, exam preparation or strengthening their overall understanding.
Lessons are typically 1–2 hours, depending on the student’s preference and requirements. I have experience tutoring AS-Level Mathematics online and mentoring IGCSE Mathematics students through my school’s mentorship programme.
