About Matthew
I have recently completed my Master of Mathematics at Durham University. This exposed me to an immense array of mathematical concepts that I explored in great detail.
I pride myself on my communication skills and patience. This in combination with my thorough knowledge of mathematics, enables me to explain concepts in plenty of different ways until it clicks.
I am incredibly friendly and eager to help others develop their passion for maths.

My teaching approach comes from a genuine passion for conveying understanding. Previously I have volunteered to teach physics to gifted primary school children. I found this immensely rewarding and look forward to helping more students.
Each lesson will be tailored to your individuals needs. I will ensure that I can provide a thorough understanding of every area of mathematics on the syllabus. I am confident I can explain concepts in as much depth as is desired, and also give pointers as to which concepts are significant if you are interested in taking mathematics to a university level. I can also discuss real world applications of the concepts that we are studying.
I am confident everyone can succeed in the area of mathematics given the right learning environment. My friendly nature in combination with my passion for the subject will allow my student to reach their full potential.
