About Arun
I’m a second-year Mathematics student at Durham University with a strong passion for maths and helping others understand it. I achieved a Grade 9 in Maths, Further Maths and Physics at GCSE, an A* in A-level Maths and Physics, and 298/300 in A-level Further Maths. While studying my A-levels, I gained experience supporting GCSE Maths students as a teaching assistant, as well as regularly helping my classmates with A-level Maths and Further Maths. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, enjoy finding different ways to explain difficult concepts clearly and effectively, and I am comfortable adapting my teaching methods to fit the student.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and personalised to each student’s needs. I can help students with areas they are struggling with, work through homework and explain difficult topics step by step. Lessons can be once or twice a week, depending on what works best for the student. My aim is not only to help students catch up, but to build their confidence and understanding so they can be at the top of their classes at school.
