About Clark
I am currently a highly motivated Electrical Engineering student studying at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. I am a former high school captain and high academic achiever.
I have had a lot of experience in tutoring in the past (mainly high school students) and I would like to continue sharing my knowledge and to be able to give students the confidence to reach their academic goals.
My students that I've taught ranged from C students where they needed help understanding concepts and the reason behind these concepts to A+ students where they just needed to make sure they maintain their high grades as they finish year 12.
In my HCS studies I recieved a Band 6 (highest band) in Mathematics as well as achieving all high distinctions in all maths courses through university so far.
I also received a Band 6 in music and understand music theory and can play the piano and guitar at very high levels. I also have had lots of experience playing in a band. (Youtube channel: Clark Cahill)
After I finish my electrical engineering degree I'm hoping to be an aerospace engineer officer in the Royal Australian Air Force.

I like to focus my tutoring on what they are learning in class and to follow the textbook. Making sure that before the teacher explains the topic in class, the student will already have a strong foundation on the concept and will use class time just to reinforce what they already know. This is because mathematics is all about repetition and the more you do, the higher grades you'll achieve.
