About Pavitra

I have been a freelance private tutor for the past 25 years, specializing in Mathematics and Physics for CBSE students of class 9-12. What started as a passion for helping students understand concepts clearly has grown into a lifelong teaching journey. Many of my students have scored above 95%, with several achieving 98-99 marks. My focus is not just on completing the syllabus, but on building strong fundamentals and exam confidence, so students walk into their board exams prepared and self-assured."

About the lesson

My teaching approach starts from the basics, ensuring students build a strong conceptual foundation before moving forward. Once the fundamentals are clear, I guide them through step-by-step problem-solving, gradually increasing the difficulty level. This method helps students not just memorize formulas, but truly understand the 'why' behind them — making them confident and independent problem-solvers by the time they reach board exam level.

The hourly fee of ₹600 applies to in-person one-on-one classes. Online classes via webcam are available at a discounted rate of ₹400/hour. Study material and practice worksheets are included at no extra cost.
The first class (1 hour) is completely free, so students and parents can evaluate my teaching style before committing.
