About Paul
*I taught Maths at all primary levels (from year 1 to year 7) and my students did well in Naplan test.
* I am good at encouraging and motivating my students in their learning by making Maths learning fun and interesting.
*I tell my students that 'in learning there is nothing hard, but something new' I make sure that all my students are involved in their learning and they succeed.

I use different methods and strategies depending on the level of the learners.
1. I use visuals: while explaining I use lots of visuals and graphics to help my students understand better.
2. I make connections: While explaining, I connect my lesson to the real world or to the real life and the previous lessons in order to help my students to make sense of concepts.
3. I use problem-solving method: I model several times and show different strategies which can be used to get the answer. I encourage my students to apply skills to solve different Maths problems by using the taught process involved in getting the solution to the problem.
4. I use assessment and task-based methods to check if the learner is able to reason through the different steps to find the answer. I use this task-based strategy frequently to identify students who are struggling and who need more help.
