About Suhana
Hi, I'm Suhana, and yes, my name means pleasant. That's exactly what I want your experience of learning to be.
Not very long ago, I was sitting where you are now. I remember what it felt like to stare at a problem and have no idea where to start. I also remember the moment it finally clicked, and how completely that changed the way I felt about the subject.
That moment is what I want for every student I work with.
I am not here to get you through an exam and move on. I want you to finish our sessions actually understanding what you have learned, finding it interesting, and feeling genuinely capable. Marks tend to follow when that happens.
I bring real experience to every lesson. I have worked with students in a professional tutoring environment, mentored peers through university and interned in a corporate setting. I scored 99.2% in my own national board exams and I am now completing a Master of Actuarial Studies at UNSW Sydney.
I know this material deeply. More importantly, I know how to explain it in a way that makes sense to you.

As a parent, I know the hardest part isn't finding someone who knows the subject. It's finding someone your child actually wants to learn from.
What I do differently:
- I find why a student is stuck, not just where. Then we fix the root, not the symptom
- Big topics get broken into small, achievable steps so every session ends with a win
- Interactive throughout. No passive note-taking, ever
- Regular short tests built into the cycle, not saved for exam season

- Clear, honest feedback on what is improving, what needs work and what comes next
My background:
- 1+ year tutoring teenagers including students with exam anxiety, ADHD and learning differences, in a psychologist-supervised setting
- Scored 99.2% in my national board exams, including 100/100 in Mathematics, Business Studies, Accountancy and Economics
- As a university mentor, 6 out of 10 students I supported raised their grade band within one semester, a 60% improvement rate
