About Jacob
I am a A-Level student studying maths, economics and history. I am an easy going, non-judgemental person with two younger brothers which I have successfully tutored for the last couple of years. In addition to this, I have tutored younger students at my school. I strongly believe that hard work pays off and that with the right support, any student can achieve their desired grade. I believe that tutoring should be an enjoyable experience and not a chore; my lessons reflect this.

I do an assessment in the first lesson to understand the students strengths and weaknesses. I then use the assessment to tailor lessons to the student, going through questions with the student, making sure they understand the content. I set an appropriate amount of homework for the student to complete out of the lesson, to consolidate their learning, going over any questions they struggled with in the next lesson. Lessons are typically an hr but can be longer or shorter.
