About Emma
I've always had a passion and natural ability for Maths. At GCSE I achieved a grade 9 in Maths and A in Further Maths. I got an A* in my A Level Maths and an A in AS Further Maths. I am now working towards a first in a degree in Maths and Economics at the University of Leeds. I am hoping to help others by sharing my knowledge of Maths and also my experience with the education system as I can help prepare students for GCSE and A Level exams, having recently sat them myself.
I am a new tutor however I have experience in helping others with Maths as my friends often relied on me to help them through GCSEs. I find it easy to work with people and am good at explaining concepts and being patient until they fully understand it.

I base my classes mainly on the specific student and what they tell me they need help with and I can patiently explain the topic from scratch in necessary to ensure they have the full knowledge and understanding of it. I then prepare practice problems for them to have a go at as that is the most important learning method in Maths. I can then give feedback and talk the student through the questions and explain how to solve them and also how to ensure all marks are achieved in an exam question.

If you live in Leeds city centre then I can walk to you, therefor I won't charge for travel but if you outside of Leeds city centre I will charge depending on how far I have to travel as I will need to pay for an Uber.
