About Matt

A few bullet points: - I play rugby (centre), and have done since early childhood - I am a huge nerd, even without the Maths (Pokémon, Marvel, and Lord of the Rings are the top three!) - I studied Exercise & Sport Science at Exeter university, then went back there for my Maths PGCE (it's very highly regarded for both) - I first started "teaching" in school, when my younger brother's friend needed a Maths tutor. Since then, I've always enjoyed helping someone else succeed - it really is its own reward! - As a teacher, I've taught every ability at all high-school ages, and my classes almost always meet (or beat) their potential.

About the lesson

Having offered private weekend tuition throughout my teaching career, I can tailor a lesson to suit any individual. My past students range from primary school students struggling with Times Tables to A-level students pushing for Russell Group university places, and everything in between! Lessons can be any length from 45-90 mins, are ideally student-driven, and will combine walk-throughs and practice - whatever works for you! No matter your age or confidence level, I am here to help!
