As a tutor focused on GCSE students, my approach is student centred and adaptable to each individual's learning style and pace. I always start by finding out where strengths and weaknesses are to get a good understanding of where the student is in their learning. I have a strong grasp of the subject material, achieving grade 9 in GCSE maths and further maths, currently predicted A* in maths and FM A level. I have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their goals in maths. I understand that maths doesn't come naturally to lots of people and I am willing to take lessons at whatever pace best suits students, gaining a better understanding of topics and going through exam style questions to gain confidence and proficiency in each topic.
