About Max
I studied Pure and Applied Mathematics at the University of Cape Town. Since my earliest student days I've always enjoyed tutoring others. I'm currently investing more time into tutoring online, as I find it more rewarding than my other work in corporate data analysis. I enjoy meeting and advising students, and offering them a friendly guide to assist them on their learning journey and improve their marks.

My lessons typically last 1 hour or 1.5 hours. I like to make sure that the student understands the fundamentals of the topic at hand and not just how to answer questions in the specific way some exams require. This approach means that students are often able to get to the bottom of their anxiety around Maths, catch up to what is being taught in class, and even excel at Maths, making it fun and enjoyable.
