About Matt
I have a degree in Musicology from The University of Sydney. I am involved with all aspects of music in Sydney. I run a venue, I write and produce music for myself and others with modern tools. I am a fun and patient teacher with loads of experience with all of the aspects of bringing a song from idea into real world distribution and performance :)

Everything of value I've learned as a musician has been a fun experience. I want to pass that on to you or your child. If you're after help memorising pieces, look elsewhere. But if you or your child want to seek a deeper understanding of music, and to find a clear path between idea and expression, read on.
Everyone has a unique way of learning. I engage with people of all ages on THEIR terms. My chief goal as a teacher is to help a student understand how music WORKS in order to facilitate the appreciation of music and their instrument.
I focus on hearing and feeling music understanding. My lessons work toward a holistic and deep understanding of music.
